The Tybo, a 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive seen here near the Bodie station in 1889, was used to haul logs to Mono Mills and cordwood and lumber to Bodie. One of four wood-burning locomotives owned by the Bodie & Benton Railway, the Tybo was eventually purchased by the Inyo Development Company and used to haul soda ash from Owens Lake.
